Request regarding The NHSCFA HR Policies.

Can I please have copies of the following polices which are currently actively in use within the NHS Counter Fraud Authority

  1. Policy on managing flexible working arrangements (such as part time working, working from home etc)
  2. Policy regarding recruitment processes
  3. Policy regarding staff retirement
  4. Policy for managing staff absence

If there is not a specific NHSCFA policy for these areas, can you please advise and provide copies of the policies you do work to?

Can you also confirm if the NHS Counter fraud authority aligns with current NHS Agenda for Change terms and conditions of employment for all staff (i.e are all staff employed on agenda for change terms) and are there any variations in terms from the standard NHS AfC conditions? If there are differences can these variance terms please be listed.

The Policy on managing flexible working arrangements is contained in The Family Friendly Policy which is attached.

  1. Policy regarding recruitment processes

The Recruitment Policy is attached.

  1. Policy regarding staff retirement

The Retirement Policy is attached.

  1. Policy for managing staff absence

The Sickness and Absence Management Policy is attached.

All NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA)staff are employed under Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions which allow for local negotiation on most of them.

Any staff employed at NHSCFA prior to April 2006 and who remain in the same position or who have been redeployed through a restructure will be employed on ‘NHS CFSMS Terms and Conditions.

All other staff are employed on ‘NHS BSA Terms and Conditions.

The NHSCFA does not hold a list of the main variations between Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions and NHS CFSMS or NHS BSA Terms and Conditions.

If you wish to know of variations in any specific terms, then please reframe your request, submitting a new request and NHSCFA will consider an appropriate response.
