The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) will be attending 2019’s biggest pharmaceutical event of the year, the Pharmacy Show 2019 conference. The conference will take place on Sunday 6 October and Monday 7 October 2019 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham. Over the course of the two days, there will be multiple sessions covering different areas of the pharmacy sector.

Come and visit us at stand PE45!

We aim to engage with all stakeholders and the general public, presenting our message on what we do at the NHSCFA, what NHS fraud is (particularly pharmaceutical contractor fraud) and how we can work together to prevent and detect NHS fraud.

Pharmaceutical contractor fraud is one of our four priority action areas for 2019-20 and we want to use the conference as an opportunity to engage with pharmacy professionals, to raise awareness of pharmaceutical fraud in the NHS, what they can do to mitigate the risks, and how to prevent NHS community pharmacy from becoming a target of fraud.

To help us learn more about those risks, our colleagues will be conducting a survey to improve our understanding of the fraud risks facing NHS community pharmacy.

We hope to see you there, so stop by (stand PE45) and have a chat with us.
