In NHSCFA’s 2018 strategic assessment report, paragraph 5.4 states that: During 2016-2017, NHSCFA received 4,602 fraud information reports. And paragraph 6.5.2 states that: Throughout 2016-2017 NHSCFA received one allegation per 90 community pharmacist (sic).
I would like to know:
- In total, how many of the reports received by the NHSCFA in 2016-2017 were of fraud undertaken by community pharmacy contractors
- How many of the total number of the community pharmacy contractor fraud reports received in 2016/17 were due to:
- Inappropriate claims relating to dispensing and enhances services offered at the premises
- Inflation of fees, allowances and reimbursements claimed under the drug tariff
- Activities that contravene the terms of the contractual agreement
- The data underpinning NHSCFA’s assertion that community contractor fraud reports were received at a ratio of one allegation per 90 community pharmacist (sic)
- Clarification of whether NHSCFA’s assertion that “community contractor fraud reports were received at a ratio of one allegation per 90 community pharmacist” (sic) relates to one allegation per community pharmacist, or one allegation per community pharmacy.
