Under the FOI Act 2000, I would like to request the following recorded information held by the NHSCFA:
1. The number of fraud investigations opened (all time) where the alleged offence related to the prescribing, supply, or reimbursement of botulinum toxin preparations.
2. The number of closed investigations during this period relating to botulinum toxin prescribing or supply, and the recorded outcomes.
3. Any recorded fraud typologies, risk assessments, internal reports, intelligence summaries, or briefing documents (all time) that relate to: prescribing/supply of botulinum toxin; prescription-only medicines supplied for cosmetic purposes; remote prescribing arrangements linked to NHS prescription reimbursement, the number of referrals received during this period relating to suspected fraudulent prescribing/reimbursement of botulinum toxin. Where available, please provide the data broken down by calendar year.

1. NHS Counter Fraud Authority has identified 1 investigation relating specifically to the prescribing, supply or reimbursement of botulinum toxin preparations.
2. The investigation is closed with no areas of concern identified.
3. There are no fraud typologies, fraud assessments, internal reports, intelligence summaries or briefing documents that relate to this area.
