Kathryn is the owner and Managing Director of an award-winning content marketing agency CopyHouse, specialising in the B2B technology space. She started the business in 2020 before building her agency to a permanent team of 25. Over the last three years, Kathryn has grown Copy House at an accelerated pace by expanding into the EU and increasing the company’s service offering to include content design and B2B social media.

Kathryn has extensive experience with building high-performing teams from scratch and launching innovative initiatives like a work-from-anywhere policy or a 4-day working week.

She was the winner of the Institute of Directors Scotland Young Director of the year award in 2021.

Brought up in Maine, USA Kathryn has lived in London for the past 10 years and has two degrees, including an MA in Modern Literature from UCL.

When not running Copy House, Kathryn also contributes to the wider industry by acting as a speaker, thought leadership contributor, running a Pay It Forward scheme to offer pro-bono support to others and serving on the B2B Council for the DMA and Scotland Council for BIMA. She is professionally active on social media with more than 10K followers on LinkedIn.

Kathryn will be with us as a board apprentice for the next 12 months during which time she is looking to expand her expertise and experience outside of her agency with a view to securing more board roles in the future.

“I believe in the work that the NHS does across the board and this opportunity is well aligned with the respect I have for the organisation. I am very much looking forward to working with the CFA over the next 12 months and am excited to launch my board career.”
