Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II

"It is with sadness we learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

"On behalf of everyone at NHSCFA, I offer sincere condolences to the Royal Family at what must be an extremely difficult time for them.

"Her Majesty the Queen was an ardent supporter of the NHS we strive to protect, awarding the organisation the George Cross to mark the incredible contributions NHS Staff have made in over 70 years of history.

"Many of the traits displayed by Her Majesty The Queen, in the manner in which she carried out her public duties, are reflected in the behaviours and values demonstrated across the NHS and particularly here at NHSCFA.

"Throughout her reign, she was a true advocate and leader of community cohesion and brought people together in times of uncertainty, this should continue to serve as an inspiration to us all.

"As we come together to remember and pay tribute to the life of The Queen, on behalf of the NHSCFA Board and all at the NHSCFA, we thank you for your exemplary service.”

Alex Rothwell, CEO of the NHS Counter Fraud Authority

"We have lost someone who was an inspiration for our country, the Commonwealth and indeed the world. She always put duty first but still found time to look after our family - a message to us all in these challenging times.

"Across the globe people will be thinking of their favourite memory of Her Majesty and I was honoured to be invited to a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace with the Queen and Prince Phillip - one of my fondest memories and a day I will never forget.

"On behalf of us all at the NHS Counter Fraud Authority – thank you for you service, Your Majesty. God Save the King."

Tom Taylor, Chair of the NHS Counter Fraud Authority
