Fraud prevention guidance

Our guidance documents set out a framework for the NHS to deal with fraud at both a national and a local level through the implementation of effective fraud prevention controls.

The NHSCFA produces a range of guidance to help NHS organisations prevent fraud and strengthen controls. This includes detailed guidance documents and practical quick guides focused on key risk areas that set clear expectations for good practice.

Additional guidance is available on the NHSCFA Counter Fraud Manual (currently available to Local Counter Fraud Specialists and Directors of Finance).
